# Other Modalities

> Streaming, robotics, games, data, crypto, and tunneling. Each is a typed client over one connection.

Beyond voice, chat, and realtime, the same QUIC + MoQT substrate powers a family
of typed modalities. Each modality is its own subpath import with a client
shaped for the job. All modalities share one connection, one auth, and one
relay. Pick the modality that you build. The sidebar now lists their starting
points.

  - **[Streaming](/modalities/streams/details)** — Live one-to-many broadcast + VOD. RTMP / SRT / WHIP / TUS2 ingest, CMAF,
    signed playback.
  - **[Robotics](/modalities/robotics/details)** — Topic pub/sub for robot fleets — ROS 2 (CDR), Zenoh-over-QUIC, and MQTT.
  - **[Games](/modalities/games/details)** — Multiplayer rooms with state / input / event channels; drop-in Unity transport.
  - **[Data](/modalities/data/details)** — MQTT-style typed pub/sub — hierarchical topics, `+` / `#` filters, retained
    messages, and no broker.
  - **[Crypto](/modalities/crypto/details)** — A Solana block-dissemination network — low-latency feeds in, native TPU
    delivery out.
  - **[Tunnel](/modalities/tunnel/details)** — Expose a local TCP/HTTP service over QUIC. You get a public URL with no
    inbound ports.
  - **[QuickDesk](/modalities/quickdesk/overview)** — Self-hosted remote desktop and unattended access over the same QUIC relay.
It is end-to-end encrypted, with no inbound ports.
  - **[Inference](/modalities/inference/details)** — Duplex audio into one speech-to-speech model over a single QUIC connection.

> **NOTE:**
> The docs describe every modality the same way: Details, SDK Methods, Cookbook,
> and Recipes. Open **Explore all docs** in the sidebar for the full reference.
